Once there, do some grocery shopping and then make the onward connection by train to Millstreet. You may opt to get to Limerick city and then make your way by train from there, but this will increase the number of connections that you will need to make!

If travelling by bus, you are likely to need to change in Macroom, while if travelling by train, you will probably have to change in Mallow. Pre-booking a seat on the bus is not required, but is recommended on the train if possible (via http://www.irishrail.com). If travelling by train, make your way to Cork city's Kent train station. Buses towards Millstreet leave from the Bus Station on St. Patrick’s Quay.
