What to pack for an EJC?Never been to an EJC before? Currently worrying about what you should bring? Fear not, gentle juggler, for your EJC 2014 crew have compiled a checklist of useful items for you to bring


  1. Juggling Props
  2. Tent (i.e. don't rely on a hammock or the kindness of strangers!)
  3. Sleeping Bag
  4. Camping Roll or Foam Mat or Foam Tiles or Air Mattress or Camping Bed
  5. Torch (preferably a Head Torch, but be mindful not to shine it in people's eyes)
  6. Pillow (or something which can be used as a pillow)
  7. Towels
  8. Shower Supplies (e.g. Shampoo, Body Wash, Soap)
  9. Baby Wipes or Wet Wipes or Waterwipes
  10. Deodorant
  11. Daily Change of Clothes (or method and instruments for washing clothes)
  12. Spare Socks (double the amount you'd normally wear as nothing beats a clean pair of socks and underwear)
  13. Money for items such as food, alcohol and props [and enough cash to register if you haven't done so already!]
  14. Beanie Hat, Gloves and Bed Socks (to wear when sleeping if you get cold)
  15. Identification and your EJC pre-registration number or print out
  16. Toothbrush & toothpaste
  17. Water Bottle or Thermos or Canteen
  18. Clothes Pegs (for trying out your towel at the least - if it is breezy, your towel will blow away unless secured)
  19. Personal Medications


  1. Bin Bags (for dirty clothes and rubbish)
  2. Your Country's Flag
  3. Tent Identifier (e.g. banner, mascot, landmark)
  4. Costume for the parade
  5. In Case of Sun: Sunscreen, Chapstick/Lip Balm, Sunglasses, Sun Hat
  6. In Case of Rain: Raingear (e.g. Coat, Hiking or Wellington Boots, Spare Shoes, Waterproofs)
  7. Cooking Equipment (e.g. camping stove, pot, matches, washing-up liquid, can opener)
  8. Eating Utensils (e.g. knife, fork, spoon, plate, bowl, mug)
  9. Food (Though there are supermarkets a walk away)
  10. Fun Stuff (e.g. Cards and Games, Frisbees and Footballs, Puzzles and Nerf guns)
  11. Musical Instrument
  12. Camera
  13. Spare Batteries (for any battery-operated items)
  14. Corkscrew and/or Bottle Opener or Multi-Tool (e.g. Leatherman or Swiss Army Knife)
  15. Alarm Clock
  16. Notebook and Pencil (for workshops and contact details)
  17. Emergency/First Aid/Thermal/Space Blanket (to tape over your tent in hot weather)
  18. Duct Tape
  19. Thermal Clothes and/or Tights
  20. Ear Plugs/Sleeping Mask
  21. Toilet or Kitchen Roll
  22. Emergency Phone Charger or Spare Charged Phone Battery
  23. Nail Clippers and/or Emery Board/Nail File / Scissors
  24. Plasters
  25. Hair Comb or Brush
  26. Feminine Hygiene Products (e.g. tampons, pads, moon cup)
  27. Hand Sanitizer
